Defender Portable Shovel

A folding shovel that assembles to 89 cm, which is long enough to dig standing up rather than crouched over. It breaks down to 41.5 cm for a vehicle or a storage box, with a stainless steel blade and an aluminium handle.

Best for
Digging out a bogged vehicle, clearing a fire pit, levelling a tent site and general camp and trail work.

Not ideal for
Prying or levering. Use it to dig rather than as a bar under a wheel or a rock, since an aluminium handle will bend and the folding joint is the point that gives.

Additional features
- 89 cm assembled, so you dig standing rather than kneeling
- Stainless steel blade resists corrosion after wet or muddy use
- Folds down to under half its length for transport
- Supplied with a carry case
